Suzuki Motorcycle India concluded the 2025-26 financial year with total sales of 1,439,415 units. This performance represents a 15 per cent increase compared to the previous financial year. The total volume marks the highest annual sales recorded by the manufacturer in the Indian market. Demand remained consistent across the product portfolio, including both scooters and motorcycles.
The domestic market served as the primary driver of volume. The company sold 1,174,874 units within India, rising from 10,45,662 units in the preceding year. This growth indicates a 12 per cent increase in local dispatches for the twelve-month period.
Exports also increased during the financial year. Suzuki shipped 2,64,541 units to international markets, compared to 2,10,493 units in the prior year. This represents a 26 per cent growth in export volumes. In March 2026, the company recorded total sales of 1,31,491 units. This figure is an 11 per cent increase over the 1,18,364 units sold in March 2025. The monthly results contributed to the record-breaking annual total.
The monthly breakdown for March shows domestic retail sales of 1,08,661 units. This reflects an 11 per cent rise year-on-year. Export shipments for the month reached 22,830 units, compared to 20,188 units in the same month of the previous year.

The company maintained production levels to provide inventory for the dealership network. During the year, the brand expanded its retail presence to every state in India. The results follow the introduction of new models and the entry of the manufacturer into the electric vehicle segment.
Also, Suzuki Motorcycle India recently launched the updated Burgman, one of its popular scooters in the country. The new version brings a revised design and added features, along with an updated engine that now produces more torque than before. Interestingly, the company has decided to continue selling the previous Burgman as well, positioning it between the variants of the new model.
