Suzuki Motorcycle India Records 26% YoY Sales Growth in December

Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Ltd. (SMIPL) has announced that it sold a total of 1.22 lakh units in December 2025, marking a 26% increase compared to 96,804 units sold in the same month in 2024. Domestic sales reached 97,823 units, up 24% from 78,834 units a year earlier, while exports surged to 24,543 units, a notable 37% growth over 17,970 units in the same month last year. The company also achieved a record high in spare parts revenue, reaching INR 961 million in December 2025, reflecting a 16% year-on-year rise. SMIPL continues to meet diverse customer preferences in India with its portfolio of motorcycles and scooters, including popular models like the Gixxer, V-Strom SX, Hayabusa, Access 125, Burgman Street, and Avenis.

Commenting on the performance, Deepak Mutreja, Vice President – Sales & Marketing, Suzuki Motorcycle India Pvt. Key Highlights

Suzuki Motorcycle India introduced new colour options and special offers for its Gixxer lineup last year in October. The fully-faired Gixxer SF gets two dual-tone shades – Metallic Oort Gray with Pearl Mira Red, and Glass Sparkle Black with Metallic Oort Gray, with prices starting at Rs 1.37 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Meanwhile, the naked Gixxer gets three new colour combinations: Metallic Oort Gray + Pearl Mira Red, Glass Sparkle Black + Metallic Oort Gray, and Metallic Triton Blue + Glass Sparkle Black, and is priced from Rs 1.26 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Both Gixxers are powered by the same 155cc, BS6 OBD-2B compliant single-cylinder engine that produces a maximum power output of 13.4bhp at 8,000rpm and a peak torque of 13.8Nm at 6,000rpm.
