Tata Punch EV, Tiago EV Attract Discounts of up to Rs 85,000 in January

Tata Motors is offering discounts of up to Rs 85,000 on the Punch EV and Tiago EV in January 2025. The MY2024 and MY2025 stock of the mentioned models are eligible for the discounts, making them more affordable for buyers. The Tata Punch EV, with its compact SUV design and appealing features, is now more attractively priced. Similarly, the Tiago EV, a popular choice in the affordable electric hatchback segment, offers strong performance and range at a competitive price. These offers aim to make the brand’s electric vehicles more accessible to a broader customer base, helping to drive further growth in the electric vehicle market. The latest discounts from Tata Motors are divided into two types: Green Bonus as well as exchange/scrapping perks, with the amount varying by variant.

Tata Punch EV Discounts: January 2025

The Tata Punch EV offers two powertrain options: Medium Range (MR) and Long Range (LR). For this month, the MY2024 Punch EV models are available with discounts of up to Rs 70,000. The Smart and Smart+ trims of the 3.3kW MR (Medium Range) variant are eligible for Rs 40,000 off, while the other 3.3kW MR versions receive Rs 50,000 in discounts. The 3.3kW LR (Long Range) version gets a Rs 50,000 discount, whereas the LR variants with a 7.2kW fast charger are offered with Rs 70,000 off. The MY2025 Punch EV comes with a flat Rs 40,000 discount.

The MR variant features a 25kWh battery, providing a range of 315km (MIDC), while the LR variant comes with a larger 35kWh battery, offering a range of 421km (MIDC) on a single charge. Both powertrains are paired with permanent magnet synchronous motors, though the MR variant generates less power at 81bhp compared to the LR’s 120bhp. With 81bhp and 114Nm of torque, the Punch EV MR accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 13.5 seconds, whereas the LR variant, with 120bhp and 190Nm, completes the same sprint in 9.5 seconds.

Tata Tigor EV Discounts: January 2025

The Tiago EV is available with two battery options: a 19.2kWh Medium Range battery and a 24kWh Long Range battery. The Medium Range variant powers a 60bhp motor with a claimed 250km range, while the Long Range variant produces 74bhp and offers a range of 315km. Using a DC fast charger, the Tiago EV can charge from 10% to 80% in 57 minutes. Tata also includes a standard 3.3kW AC wallbox charger, with an optional 7.2kW AC fast charger available.

Coming to the benefits, the MY2024 Tata Tiago EV offers discounts of up to Rs 85,000, while the MY2025 variants receive a uniform Rs 40,000 discount across all trims. The 3.3kW XE variant of the MY2024 Tiago EV is discounted by Rs 50,000, while the 3.3kW XT MR version benefits from a Rs 70,000 reduction. The 3.3kW XT LR trim gets the highest discount of Rs 85,000, with the XZ+ and XZ+ Tech Lux variants seeing Rs 60,000 off.
