Under the hood, a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol engine with 85bhp of maximum power and 113Nm of peak torque powers the Tata Tigor. This motor can be mated with an AMT unit or a five-speed manual transmission. A version with a CNG engine developed to generate 72bhp of peak power and 95Nm of maximum torque is also available. The only transmission that can be had for this engine is a five-speed manual.
