Elon Musk-owned Tesla has opened its second showroom in the commercial premium hub of Aerocity, Delhi. This comes almost a month after the EV giant made its official entry into the Indian market with its first showroom at Mumbai’s Bandra-Kurla Complex. The new showroom underscores Tesla’s commitment to expanding its presence in key metropolitan hubs. Its strategic location (near the Indira Gandhi airport) helps it to cater to premium buyers, offering convenient access from central Delhi, Gurugram, and key expressways. The new Tesla showroom in Delhi's Aerocity is more than a sales hub. It acts as a brand experience centre, allowing visitors to explore the brand's EV ecosystem and learn about its new Model Y electric SUV.
Tesla has strengthened its EV infrastructure in India by installing four new V4 Superchargers in the basement parking area of its Delhi Aerocity showroom. These high-powered DC chargers are supported by four Destination Charging stalls equipped with AC chargers.

The V4 Superchargers offer charging speeds of up to 250 kW, allowing the newly launched Tesla Model Y to gain around 267 kilometres of range in 15 minutes. The Superchargers deliver peak speeds of up to 250 kW, priced at Rs 24 per kWh, while the AC stalls offer a slower 11 kW charge at a more affordable rate of Rs 11 per kWh.
Tesla’s new charging setup forms a key part of its broader strategy to develop a robust EV network in the country. The company is actively working on expanding its Supercharger network across the Delhi NCR region, with upcoming installations planned in areas like Saket, Noida, and Horizon Center.
Beyond Delhi and Mumbai, the automaker is targeting eight additional cities, including Bengaluru, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad, for future charging stations.
