Toyota Glanza Gets Costlier by Rs 12,000 in India; Here’s What Each Variant Costs Now

Toyota has increased the prices of the Glanza in India by up to Rs 12,000. The premium hatchback now starts at Rs 6.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 9.99 lakh (both, ex-showroom). It has four core trims (E, S, G, and V) and is offered in both petrol and CNG powertrain options. Although the Glanza is based on the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Toyota has given it a distinct identity. The changes are evident in the front styling, including the grille, air dam, and fog lamp housing. The alloy wheels are also different, helping to distinguish the Glanza from the Baleno. The Toyota Glanza is one of the strong players in the premium hatchback segment, and serves as a strong rival to models like the Maruti Suzuki Baleno, the Tata Altroz, and the Hyundai i20.

Toyota Glanza: Powertrain
The Glanza comes equipped with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, with the option of a factory-fitted CNG kit. The petrol variant produces 89bhp of maximum power and 113Nm of peak torque, and is offered with either a 5-speed manual transmission or an AMT. On the other hand, the CNG version delivers 76bhp and 98.5Nm mated solely to a manual gearbox.
Toyota Glanza: Features
The Glanza is equipped with automatic climate control with rear AC vents, a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility, and cruise control.
