According to Toyota, the Innova Hycross offers a fuel efficiency of 16.13km/l for the petrol variant, while the hybrid delivers up to 23.24km/l.

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has revised the pricing structure of select vehicles in its portfolio. Recently, we covered the updated price list for the Taisor. As for the Hycross, the starting GX variants of the Innova Hycross, available in both 7- and 8-seat layouts, retain their existing price tags of Rs 19.94 lakh and Rs 19.99 lakh. On the other hand, the GX(O) 7S and 8S trims have witnessed a price bump of Rs 11,000. All remaining variants of the Innova Hycross, including the hybrid-powered VX, VX(O), ZX, and ZX(O) models across both seating options, have become costlier by Rs 15,000 each. With these changes, the Hycross now spans a price range of Rs 19.94 lakh to Rs 31.49 lakh. All mentioned prices are ex-showroom figures.
The Toyota Innova Hycross is offered with two engine options: a 2.0-litre naturally aspirated (NA) petrol unit and a 2.0-litre strong hybrid powertrain. The hybrid version, mated to an e-CVT, generates a combined output of 183bhp, with 188Nm from the petrol engine and 206Nm from the electric motor. The petrol-only variant, paired with a conventional CVT, delivers 173bhp and 209Nm of torque.
Toyota claims that the petrol variant returns a fuel efficiency of 16.13km/l, while the hybrid variant offers a higher figure of 23.24km/l.

Inside, the Hycross is equipped with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless charging, a fully digital instrument cluster, dual-zone climate control, ventilated front seats, and a panoramic sunroof.
In terms of safety, it comes with features like three-point seatbelts for all passengers, electronic stability control (ESC), hill-start assist, a rearview camera, ISOFIX mounts, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, six airbags, and an Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS).
The Hycross recently drew widespread attention as the first MPV and the first Toyota model to undergo crash testing under the Bharat New Car Assessment Programme (BNCAP). It earned a full 5-star safety rating, scoring 30.47 out of 32 for Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and 45 out of 49 in the Child Occupant Protection (COP) category.
ISOFIX anchorage points and compatibility with recommended child restraint systems helped the MPV achieve a perfect 24/24 in dynamic child safety tests. For AOP, it scored 14.47 out of 16 in the frontal offset deformable barrier test, with protection for the head, thighs, and feet rated as ‘good’. The chest and left shin of the driver were marked as ‘adequate’. In the side impact test with a mobile barrier, the vehicle secured the full 16 points with 'good' protection across all critical regions. A separate side pole test yielded an ‘OK’ rating.

For child safety, the Hycross also earned 12 out of 12 in the Child Restraint System installation evaluation, with the remaining 9 points coming from structural integrity and safety assist features, bringing its total COP score to an impressive 45 out of 49.
