TVS Raider 125 crosses 1.6 million sales in India and abroad. With a 124.8cc engine, SmartXonnect and 85+ features, it stays a strong choice in the 125cc segment.

TVS Motor Company has announced that the Raider motorcycle has crossed 1.6 million sales in India. Launched in September 2021, the Raider has built a strong place in the 125 cc commuter bike segment. Its steady growth has helped TVS strengthen its presence in the market and attract riders looking for a mix of performance and everyday usability. By August 2025, the TVS Raider 125 had sold 1,604,355 units worldwide. More than 1.35 million of these were sold in India, while 2.45 lakh were shipped to export markets. The bike contributed 39 per cent of TVS Motor’s total motorcycle sales of 3.52 million units in India during this time, showing how important it has become for the brand.

The Raider began with sales of 76,742 units in FY22 and saw strong growth with 2,39,288 units in FY23 and 4,78,443 units in FY24. FY25 brought a slowdown, with 3,99,819 units sold, a drop of 16 per cent compared to the previous year. Despite that, the model picked up pace again, reaching 1,63,855 units by July 2025, proving its continued appeal among buyers.
Powering the TVS Raider 125 is a 124.8cc, three-valve, single-cylinder engine. It generates 11bhp at 7,500rpm and 11.75Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. This setup makes it capable of handling city traffic and light highway use with ease. The motorcycle is priced from Rs 87,625 (ex-showroom), giving customers a choice in the higher end of the commuter segment.

The Raider offers a reverse LCD Connected cluster with more than 85 functions, making information easy to read on the go. Riders get multiple ride modes and TVS SmartXonnect, which includes voice assist, turn-by-turn navigation, and post-ride insights. These features help the TVS Raider stay relevant for daily commutes while offering connected technology that adds to the riding experience.
