TVS sees strong demand across motorcycles and EVs, while exports and three-wheelers record steady growth in March and through FY26.

TVS Motor Company has posted a solid 25 per cent growth in March 2026. The company sold 519,358 units last month, up from 414,687 units in March 2025. This strong finish pushed its FY2025-26 total to a record 5.9 million units, a 24 per cent jump over 4.74 million units in the previous financial year. Two-wheelers continue to do the heavy lifting. Sales in this segment grew 25 per cent to 498,134 units in March. Domestic volumes matched that pace, rising 25 per cent to 372,383 units. Over the full year, two-wheeler sales reached 5.67 million units, up 23 per cent from 4.61 million units.

Motorcycles saw steady demand, with sales up 18 per cent to 232,788 units in March. Scooters did even better, growing 31 per cent to 217,624 units from 166,297 units last year. The numbers clearly show that both segments are pulling their weight.

On the EV side, growth remains strong. The company reported a 44 per cent increase in March 2026, with electric scooter sales, including the iQube and Orbiter, at 38,877 units. That’s up from 26,935 units a year ago, pointing to a steady shift towards electric options.

The three-wheeler business also delivered a strong performance. Sales jumped 46 per cent to 21,224 units in March. For the full year, volumes climbed 63 per cent to 219,000 units, showing clear momentum in the commercial space.
Exports added to the overall growth. Total overseas sales rose 25 per cent to 141,443 units in March, while two-wheeler exports were up 23 per cent. For FY2025-26, exports grew 33 per cent to 1.58 million units, strengthening the company’s presence in global markets.
