VinFast has opened its largest showroom in India, located in Chennai’s Teynampet area. Spanning 4,700 square feet, the new space currently showcases the VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs. This showroom marks a major step in VinFast’s India journey, offering customers a chance to experience its EVs up close ahead of their official launch. The company will officially launch the VF6 and VF7 in August 2025, but bookings are already open. With interest in electric cars rising in India, VinFast is aiming to attract early buyers by introducing these models through a direct and visible retail presence.

To reach more people across the country, VinFast plans to open 35 showrooms in 27 cities by the end of 2024. This network is expected to make its electric vehicles easily accessible while building the brand’s footprint in both large and emerging markets.

VinFast will also locally assemble its electric cars at a new plant in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. Local production will help lower prices and support India’s EV goals. The move signals VinFast’s long-term plans to grow in the Indian market and explore export opportunities.
