Maruti Suzuki Dzire

The third generation of Maruti’s popular compact sedan is looks a lot more better than it has ever been. It is wider, much more spacious and the new interiors are better built too. The new DZire is also a fuel economy champion in its diesel avatar. Both the petrol and diesel versions can be had with an AMT automatic gearbox. However, the top-end ‘Z’ trims are priced on the higher side.

The sales of the Ciaz sedan has been shifted to Maruti’s premium NEXA showrooms beginning May 2017. The petrol engine is also available with an automatic, but performance is nothing to write home about.

However, it’s nowhere as frugal as the DZire.
