Maruti Suzuki Ciaz Attract Discounts of up to Rs 53,000 in December

Maruti Suzuki is offering lucrative discounts and benefits on its mid-size sedan – the Ciaz. Offered in four variants – Sigma, Delta, Zeta, and Alpha – the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz can be had with discounts of up to Rs 53,000, which include a cash discount of up to Rs 25,000, an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000, and a corporate offer of Rs 3,000. Note that all these offers on the Ciaz are valid until December 31, 2023.

At the moment, the oldest model in the Nexa range starts at Rs 9.90 lakh for the entry-level Smart Hybrid Sigma 1.5L 5MT variant and goes all the way up to Rs 12.29 lakh for the top-spec Smart Hybrid Alpha 1.5L AT. All prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz: Engine and Gearbox

The Ciaz is powered by a BS6 Phase II-compliant 1.5-litre petrol engine, which churns out 103bhp and 138Nm of peak torque. For transmission, it employs either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed torque converter. In terms of fuel efficiency, the manual transmission versions deliver 20.65km/l, while the automatic variants offer 20.4km/l.

Maruti Suzuki Ciaz: Features

Features-wise, the sedan gets a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, steering-mounted controls, LED projector headlamps with daytime running lights, electrically adjustable ORVMs, an eight-way manually adjustable driver seat, a rear defogger, rear parking camera, passive keyless entry with push-button start, automatic climate control, cruise control, etc.

The Ciaz is one of the two sedans offered by Maruti Suzuki in India. It goes toe-to-toe with other mid-size sedans, like the Skoda Slavia, Volkswagen Virtus, and Honda City.

Maruti Suzuki India Sales Performance in November 2023

Maruti Suzuki India recently revealed its sales figures for November 2023, according to which, it sold 1,64,439 units in total. Domestic sales last month stood at 1,36,667 units, while the company's exports totalled 22,950 units. In the mini segment, the Alto and the S-Presso hatchbacks' sales numbers for the previous month were 9,959 units, representing a decrease from the 18,251 units sold during the same period last year.

Furthermore, the cumulative sales for compact segment models like the Baleno, Celerio, Dzire, Swift, Ignis, WagonR, and Tour S totalled 64,679 units, showing a slight decrease from the 72,844 units sold in the same month last year. The year 2023 proved to be quite successful for Maruti Suzuki in terms of new launches and debuts, such as the Fronx, Jimny, Grand Vitara, and Invicto. The price range of these vehicles starts at Rs 7.46 lakh and goes up to Rs 24.82 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom.
