The Mahindra XEV 9e stands out as one of the most complete examples yet of India’s growing strength in electric-vehicle engineering. Built on Mahindra’s dedicated INGLO platform, it’s a genuine ‘born-electric’ SUV — designed from the ground up to deliver refinement, stability, and a sense of sophistication that feels refreshingly new for the brand.

Mahindra claims a 0–100 km/h sprint of 6.8 seconds, and while it’s not an out-and-out performance SUV, the XEV 9e delivers its power in a smooth, progressive manner. Inside, the XEV 9e leaves a strong impression with its spacious layout, solid build, and high-quality materials. It’s refined, quiet, and packed with technology, but what stands out the most is how well it performs as an all-rounder — it feels like a product engineered with genuine intent.
