Royal Enfield has entered the electric space with the all-new Flying Flea C6 — a motorcycle that marks a complete departure from the brand’s traditional design and philosophy. Built from the ground up as an EV, it focuses on accessibility, compact proportions, and high-tech features. This first ride evaluates whether the C6 delivers on performance and usability, and more importantly, whether it still feels like a Royal Enfield.
The Flying Flea C6 looks nothing like a conventional Royal Enfield.
Ergonomically, it’s approachable and easy to manage.
The Flying Flea C6 uses a relatively compact battery setup, but delivers strong urban performance.
Charging:
Performance is strongest in Sport mode, where acceleration feels brisk and overtakes are effortless. Other modes prioritise efficiency over outright punch.
Key Features:
This is easily the most tech-heavy Royal Enfield to date.
The lightweight chassis makes the C6 very easy to ride in urban conditions.
However, the suspension is firm, and the low-speed ride over bumps feels harsh. On the flip side, high-speed stability is decent.
The Royal Enfield Flying Flea C6 has now been launched in India. It is priced at Rs 2.79 lakh ex-showroom, while the Battery-as-a-Service option brings the starting price down to Rs 1.99 lakh. The C6 is currently positioned as a premium urban electric motorcycle and will take on rivals such as the Ultraviolette F77.
The Flying Flea C6 is a bold, unconventional step for Royal Enfield. It brings impressive performance, cutting-edge tech, and strong urban usability.
However, it also moves away from the brand’s traditional character — in design, feel, and ride quality. Compared to rivals like the Ultraviolette F77, the C6 focuses more on accessibility and everyday practicality rather than outright performance.
If you’re open to a new kind of Royal Enfield, this could work. But if you’re expecting the classic RE experience, this might feel like a completely different machine.
