Volkswagen has launched the 2026 Taigun facelift in India, introducing subtle design updates and a handful of feature additions. While the overall formula remains unchanged, the focus is clearly on improving comfort and everyday usability. The biggest update is a new automatic gearbox. Inside, the layout remains largely unchanged, but the Taigun facelift gets:
The update is evolutionary rather than transformative — much like the Skoda Kushaq facelift.
The mechanical highlight is the gearbox update for the 1.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine. It is now paired with an 8-speed torque converter automatic.
