Often, we get so used to driving our long-term cars that sometimes we forget that they also need to be serviced once in a while! Well, with the Jeep Compass that is not a problem, as the automatic reminder for its regular service being due has just popped up in the excellent MID display.

Often, we get so used to driving our long-term cars that sometimes we forget that they also need to be serviced once in a while! Well, with the Jeep Compass that is not a problem, as the automatic reminder for its regular service being due has just popped up in the excellent MID display. Now, every time I start the car, the Compass reminds me that it is due for its scheduled service, which has meant that for once I’ve kicked off my laziness and booked the Compass at the Delhi dealer.
Of course, the service, which is due to happen in the next few days will allow me to get first-hand experience of the service experience with the Jeep brand, something that is vital for a brand’s success in the Indian market. It’ll also allow the technicians to address the only gripe I have with the car, an occasional thumping noise that comes from the front left suspension. And, I hope to have more to report about the car next month.
