The AMR26 has finally been shown in full colours, with Aston Martin revealing its 2026 F1 livery ahead of the 2026 F1 Bahrain pre-season test. This car begins a new chapter for the team as it is the first built under Adrian Newey and the first to run with Honda as a works engine partner. The 2026 season brings fresh regulations for both chassis and power units, so every team starts from a new baseline. Aston Martin enters that reset with a new team structure and upgraded facilities at Silverstone.

The livery reveal now gives a clear look at the car that will carry Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll into this regulation change as the team looks to move forward in the competitive order.

The design sticks with Aston Martin’s green base and carries branding from Aramco and other partners. These colours will run during testing and across the full race calendar. The reveal completes the team’s launch phase and sets up the first proper running of the AMR26 alongside rival teams.

Fernando Alonso and Lance Stroll remain the drivers for the 2026 season. The AMR26 is the first car fully shaped within the design structure led by Newey since his move to Aston Martin. Development work has taken place at the team’s upgraded Silverstone base as it prepares for the new technical cycle.

The car has already completed early running in a temporary finish before the final livery was shown. Those initial laps allowed the team to gather baseline data and check systems before the full test programme. It is a key step before the car joins the rest of the grid for pre-season testing.

Pre-season testing will be the first time the AMR26 runs in race colours against other teams. Aston Martin will focus on reliability runs, performance checks and set-up work before the opening round of the 2026 Formula 1 season.
