Lando Norris came out on top at the 2025 F1 Austrian Grand Prix after a close fight with McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri. Norris was fast all weekend, taking pole position and turning it into a win. The result was even more important as title rival Max Verstappen crashed out on the first lap after a tangle with Mercedes rookie Kimi Antonelli. The race turned into a tense McLaren face-off, with Norris managing to keep Piastri behind until the flag. Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc rounded off the podium. Lewis Hamilton had his best day since joining Ferrari, finishing fourth. George Russell didn’t have the pace in his Mercedes and had to settle for fifth. Racing Bulls’ Liam Lawson impressed again in sixth.
