Oscar Piastri won the 2025 Miami Grand Prix, his third consecutive victory this season. The McLaren driver passed polesitter Max Verstappen early and maintained his lead. Team-mate Lando Norris recovered from a poor start to finish second, giving McLaren a 1-2 result. These victories in Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Miami have strengthened Piastri's position at the top of the championship standings. George Russell finished third for Mercedes, 37 seconds behind Piastri. Verstappen took fourth, continuing Miami's trend where no polesitter has won the race.
Williams driver Alex Albon finished fifth, ahead of Mercedes rookie Andrea Kimi Antonelli in sixth. Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton finished seventh and eighth after swapping positions multiple times due to team orders.
