As a brand with passion and rage towards electric mobility, Ampere launched three new e-cycles in India in 2010. Another Ampere new scooter broke cover in 2011 – this time around with a sensible range and a striking design – the Ampere V60. 

After some various turn of events and success, an investment by Ratan Tata in 2015 helped the firm grow up and expand to a second factory. In the year 2016, some new investors helped the firm so as to expand electric mobility. The fiscal year 2017 saw the introduction of a new Ampere scooter, the Reo, that certainly helped the brand in expanding their digital footprint.

With the help of the association with Greaves Cotton in 2018, the company launched three new scooters – all powered by brushless DC motor – namely V 48, Magnus and Zeal in 2019 (Look for the Ampere scooters price list above). With this, the product range for Ampere scooters now expands all the way from the super affordable V 48 to the stylish Zeal. As of late 2019, Ampere has over 150 dealerships pan-India with presence in over 10 states.
