<h2>New Aprilia RS 660, RS 660 Factory: What's New?</h2>

<p>To ensure more advanced aerodynamics,&nbsp;Aprilia has redesigned the fairing of its massively popular sportbike, leveraging on concepts from its MotoGP project.&nbsp;A massive wing is now mounted beneath the windshield, coupled with two smaller aerodynamic appendages that improve airflow penetration and high-speed stability.&nbsp;While maintaining the double-layer structure,&nbsp;the updated side fairings now include an integrated aerodynamic appendage.&nbsp;</p>

<p>For 2025, Aprilia has also offered extensive onboard electronics with the bike, including a larger five-inch full-colour display and new handlebar controls with backlighting.&nbsp;Additionally, the new RS660's Aprilia Performance Ride Control (APRC) now has launch control. As before, the bike comes with&nbsp;cruise control,&nbsp;multi-level traction control, wheelie control, engine brake control, and cornering ABS. It also retains&nbsp;an electronic Ride-by-Wire throttle and a six-axis inertial platform (standard).&nbsp;</p>

<p>The addition of a new factory version is the biggest change for the RS 660 moniker.&nbsp;The RS 660 Factory features modern Ohlins suspension,&nbsp;including the 43 mm NIX 30 series fork and STX 46 shock absorber with an integrated reservoir. Both have fully adjustable hydraulic rebound and compression damping, as well as spring preload.&nbsp;The new version distinguishes itself further with new graphics and a dual-tone seat.</p>

The limited-run RS 660 Trofeo will be priced at Rs 17.20 lakh ($ 21,000) (ex-showroom). It is based on the street-legal RS 660 platform and is meant for race use only. The race-ready RS 660 Trofeo sits below the Aprilia RSV4 XTrenta, which is a high-performance hyper-naked bike equipped with rear and underwings. The recently unveiled RS 660 Trofeo weighs 153kgs and gets fibreglass race bodywork. The engine of the track-spec RS 660 Trofeo has been improved to increase the power output to 105bhp.&nbsp;</p>

<h2>Aprilia RS 660 Trofeo: Engine details</h2>

<p>In terms of the powertrain, the Aprilia RS 660 Trofeo uses a 660cc inline twin-cylinder engine and a full titanium SC-Project exhaust system. The engine, which has been tweaked by Aprilia Racing, is good enough to generate 105bhp of maximum power. The company has removed the backup air system and thermostat, and the clutch cover and alternator have aluminium guards. On offer is also a Sprint Filter air filter. &nbsp; &nbsp;</p>
