The Aprilia SR 160 is the successor to the sporty automatic scooter, the SR 150. While the talking point of the SR 160 is that it’s now compliant with the soon-to-be-enforced BS-VI emission standards, it remains largely unchanged from its predecessor otherwise.
The idea, however, remains the same. It still largely caters to the younger audience, thanks to its aggressive styling and sporty intentions. And while it was the first automatic scooter to break the norm of these being a utilitarian product, it remains to be the only one to do so – barring its smaller-capacity siblings that were introduced over the years, that is.
