<p>CFMoto has expanded its global lineup of ADVs with the 800MT-X, which comes with significant improvements over the standard 800MT range. The bike has progressed from a concept to a production vehicle since its debut at EICMA last year. As a result of CFMoto's partnership with KTM, it shares a few features with the KTM 790 Adventure. The CFMoto 800MT-X borrows multiple design elements from the 800MT range such as sharp headlamps, tall windshield, and tail section. It gets a single-piece seat, an elevated front mudguard, and a redesigned fuel tank (seen on the KTM 790 Adventure). The newest ADV from CFMoto comes with several features, such as cruise control, cornering ABS, adjustable traction control, three riding modes (sport, off-road, and rain), and a seven-inch vertical TFT display with Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth. The relatively new Chinese company showcased these models in their concept forms&nbsp;based on existing models.&nbsp;So far, there is no confirmation from the manufacturer’s end about making them to series production; however, if the brand plans on doing so, these concept bikes are expected to enter production sometime next year.&nbsp;</p>

<p><strong>CFMoto has taken the wraps off its new scrambler, the 250 CL-X. The styling and design are heavily based on the 700 CL-X, and the heart of the motorcycle has been borrowed from the 250NK.</strong></p>

<p>CFMoto has revealed the 250 CL-X, which is a quarter-litre scrambler motorcycle. So far, there is no confirmation from the manufacturer’s end about bringing the new 250cc scrambler to India; however, if the brand plans on doing so, the 250 CL-X will be positioned alongside the Husqvarna Svartpilen 250, the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.autox.com/news/bike-news/yezdi-scrambler-vs-honda-cb350rs-spec-comparison-110592/">Yezdi Scrambler, the Honda CB350RS</a>, and the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.autox.com/news/bike-news/royal-enfield-scram-411-what-to-expect-from-the-yezdi-scrambler-rival-110584/">upcoming Royal Enfield Scram 411</a>.</p>

<p>Speaking of the 250 CL-X, the motorcycle features a 249cc liquid-cooled unit, which produces 27.6bhp and 22Nm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox, which packs a slipper clutch.</p>

<p>The motorcycle is equipped with 17-inch wheels on both ends, and the suspension setup appears more road-biased, which is very unlikely for a scrambler. The motorcycle tips the scale at 155kgs.</p>

<p>The overall styling of the 250 CL-X is very much based on the CFMoto 700 CL-X, which is a middle-weight scrambler on sale overseas. The headlamp is circular, with X-shaped DRLs surrounding it. The handlebar is set up higher and wider, which is likely to offer a relaxed rider’s triangle. The seat of the bike is a single-piece unit, with a slightly raised seating position for the pillion passenger.</p>

<p>CFMoto is yet to announce the price of the 250CL-X even in the international market. That being said, there are good odds that CFMoto will launch the CL-X in India but with a 300cc engine. The power plant and most underpinnings could be borrowed from the CFMoto 300NK, which is already on sale in India.</p>

CFMoto 250 CL-X scrambler breaks cover

CFMoto has taken the wraps off its new scrambler, the 250 CL-X. The styling and design are heavily based on the 700 CL-X, whereas, the heart of the motorcycle has been borrowed from the 250NK.

<p><strong>After a few sets&nbsp;of teasers, CFMoto has commenced the bookings of the GT650, 650MT, and the 650NK for a token amount of Rs 5,000. The launch of all three middle-weight motorcycles is expected in the coming weeks</strong></p>

<p>A few weeks ago, CFMoto gave out teasers for its GT650 sports tourer and the 650NK street naked motorcycles. This time around, the company has silently commenced the bookings for both the middle-weight motorcycles on its official India website. This hints that the launch could be held in the coming weeks of June 2021.</p>

<p>The CFMoto 300NK was launched in India back in March and&nbsp;the entry-level motorcycle will be joined by the bigger GT650, 650NK, and the 650MT in the BS6 iteration. The booking for all the three 650s have commenced at a token amount of Rs 5,000.</p>

<p>&nbsp;The pricing of the BS4 GT650 model was marked at Rs 5.49 lakh (ex-showroom), and the 650NK was priced close to the Rs 4 lakh (ex-showroom) mark. The newer BS6 models are likely to be priced the same as CFMoto announced that the company was&nbsp;looking forward to 50 per cent localisation by 2020. CFMoto would locally source components for braking, suspension, and other electrical features. By sourcing most of the components locally, CFMoto could benefit from tax exemption. And that is why the company will most likely price the BS6 models the same as that of the BS4 models.</p>

<p>The CFMoto 650NK will rival the Kawasaki Z650 while the 650MT will take on the likes of Benelli TRK 502 and the Kawasaki Versys 650. &nbsp;The GT650 is likely to be pitched alongside the Kawasaki Ninja 650.</p>

Bookings for BS6 CFMoto GT650 and 650NK commenced

After a few set of teasers, CFMoto has commenced the bookings of the GT650, 650MT, and the 650NK for a token amount of Rs 5,000. The launch of all the three middle-weight motorcycles is expected in the coming weeks

<p>CFMoto stepped into the Indian market back in 2019 and launched four motorcycles – 300NK, 650NK, 650MT, and 650GT. The motorcycles were taken off the showroom floors when the stringent BS6 norms were set in the country from April 2020. Recently, in March 2021, CFMoto re-launched its 300NK in the BS6 avatar for the price of Rs 2.29 lakh which is the same as the BS4 model.</p>

<p>CFMoto has teased the information that the 650NK is on its way and the motorcycle has been made complaint to the BS6 norms. The launch is expected in the coming month for the same cost that the BS4 model, around the Rs 4 lakh mark ex-showroom.&nbsp;Other models such as the 650MT and 650GT are expected to be launched in the BS6 form could also see the same sticker price as the BS4 counterpart.</p>

<p>Back in 2019, CFMoto announced that the company is looking forward to 50 per cent localisation in the coming 18 months. While the engine-drivetrain and the frame will be imported into the country, CFMoto would locally source the braking, suspension, and other electrical components. By sourcing most of the components locally, CFMoto could benefit from tax exemption, therefore the company is likely to continue with the same pricing as the BS4 models for its new BS6 models.</p>

<p>CFMoto has just taken the wraps off a new product at EICMA – the 700 CL-X. The company showcased three variants of this scrambler-styled offering – the CL-X Heritage, CL-X Adventure and the CL-X Sport. The Adventure trim comes fitted with spoke wheels, dual-sport tyres, a raised handlebar and a larger windscreen. Customers can also get panniers as an optional extra. The Heritage, as the name rightly suggests, gets some retro touches to the design. The CL-X heritage gets a tan leather seat and a dual-tone paint scheme. The CL-X Sport, on the other hand, gets café-racer like styling. It sports a clip-on handlebar with bar-end mirrors, a different seat and rear-set footpegs. Unlike the other two variants, the sport comes with star-shaped alloy wheels and road-focused Pirelli Diablo Rosso Super Corsa tyres.</p>

<p>As far as the engine goes, all three variants are powered by the same 692cc parallel-twin motor that pumps out 73bhp and 67Nm. All three motorcycles come fitted with upside-down forks and a monoshock combination and disc brakes at the front and rear. All variants get dual-channel ABS as standard. The CFMoto 700 CL-X comes with LED lighting, Bluetooth connectivity, and cruise control as standard equipment.</p>

<p>It has been a few months since we first got the news of CFMoto making its India debut. Since then, there have been a lot of speculations about its India unveil and the products the company will launch here. The Chinese brand has put all the speculations to an end by taking the wraps off four of its products – 300NK, 650NK, 650MT, and the 650GT. &nbsp;</p>

<p>The 300NK will be the entry-point into the CFMoto brand. The street naked is powered by a 292.4cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled motor that comes paired with a 6-speed transmission.&nbsp;It will lock horns with the likes of the KTM 390 Duke, Honda CB300R and the BMW G 310 R. The 300NK has been priced at Rs 2.29 lakh (ex-showroom)</p>

<p>CFMoto has gone super aggressive with the pricing of its 650 range too. Priced at Rs 3.99 lakh (ex-showroom), the 650NK is among the most affordable 650s in the market today – second only to the Royal Enfield 650 Twins. Providing firepower to 650NK is a 649cc parallel-twin unit that develops 69.7bhp and 62Nm. This engine comes paired with a 6-speed transmission.</p>

<p>For those looking for an adventure tourer, CFMoto has also brought in the 650MT too. This one will compete against the likes of the Kawasaki Versys 650, Suzuki V-Strom 650 and the Benelli TrK 502. The 650MT has been priced at Rs 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom). CFMoto has also introduced the 650GT – which is essentially a touring focused middle-weight offering. It shares its motor with the 650MT and is priced at Rs 5.49 lakh (ex-showroom). All four motorcycles come with LED headlights, a coloured TFT screen for the instrumentation and a rear monoshock. While the 650NK and 650GT come with standard telescopic forks, the ADV 650MT is fitted with upside down forks. Interestingly, the 300NK too comes with upside down front forks.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

<p>CFMoto has joined hands with Bengaluru-based AMW Motorcycles to assemble the bikes as well as setup their sales and service touchpoints. Operations will commence with seven dealerships across the country in Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Kochi and Assam. All four motorcycles will be brought to India via the CKD route. The company plans to bring in 10,000 units per year to start with. Expect deliveries to commence in October.</p>
