CFMoto 650MT [2019-2020]

The 650MT – a middle-weight adventure tourer – is the company’s take on an all-terrain focused motorcycle. What this means, the 650MT is as capable on gravel as much as it is on smooth tarmac. As for the design, the 650MT is quite a looker. The raked windscreen has sharper creases and the front fairing and headlamp are very sports bike inspired. Speaking of the headlamp, it gets a projector setup with LED DRLs. In addition, there’s a single-piece seat, adjustable front and rear suspension, and two riding modes to play with – Sport and Touring.

Exterior Details

The 650MT is a pretty good-looking machine, the styling is smart and the bike is incredibly well-proportioned. As for the dimensions, the adventure tourer is 2,180mm in length, 835mm in width, and 1,332mm in height. It has a ground clearance of 128mm and an incredible fuel-tank capacity of 18-litres. Moreover, the 650MT has a kerb weight of 218kg.

Engine & Transmission 

The CFMoto 650MT comes with a 649cc parallel-twin motor, which is capable of producing 69bhp and 62Nm of torque. The liquid-cooled engine comes paired to a six-speed gearbox. As per the manufacturer, the CFMoto 650MT mileage is rated at 24km/l.

Handling

On the handling front, the bike rides on a 120/70Z R17 front wheel and a 160/60Z R17 rear wheel shod with Metzeler rubber. The stopping power comes from a twin-disc brake setup at the front and a single-disc brake at the rear. As for the suspension, the 650MT comes with inverted forks at the front and a monoshock at the back.

Features

The CFMoto 650MT new model features dual-channel ABS as part of the standard safety equipment. Moreover, it also comes laden with a five-inch TFT display for the instrumentation and to toggle between the abovesaid riding modes. Meanwhile, the front headlamp and the rear tail lamp are fitted with LED bulbs as standard.
