To set it apart, the new Superquadro Final Edition receives a few tweaks over the standard Ducati Panigale V2. The fuel tank is painted grey, and the bike is finished in a red, white, and black paint job.
Ducati has added a new black colour variant to its Panigale V2 range in India while retaining the supersport motorcycle's distinctive twin headlamp setup with eyebrow LED DRLs.
Ducati has issued a recall for the Panigale V2 models from 2020 to 2023. There has been no information regarding any such activity in India as of yet; the recall has been announced for the global market.
As the name suggests, Ducati has built this limited-edition Panigale V2 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Ducati Corse's first-ever World SBK title that was secured by the Australian rider Troy Bayliss back in 2001. The bike also pays homage to Bayliss' legendary racing career.
Ducati finally brings the baby Panigale in India! The Panigale V2 is the first BS6-compliant motorcycle from the Italian bike maker, and will be brought into the country as a direct import.
Powered by a 995cc V-twin Superquadro motor (mated to a six-speed gearbox), the Ducati Panigale V2 develops 153bhp at 10,750 rpm & of 104Nm of torque at 9,000rpm. The Panigale V2 is also Euro-5 compliant and therefore, it will be the first BS6-compliant Ducati model in India.
The Panigale V2 is powered by Ducati’s 995cc V-Twin engine that is good for 150.7bhp and 104Nm. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission, assisted by a bi-directional quick shifter. The superbike comes with three riding modes - Race, Sport and Street
When launched, the Ducati Panigale V2 will replace the ageing 959 Panigale. The new offering also makes more power and torque than before, and flaunts better equipment too. Expect it to demand more than the 959 Panigale's Rs 15.30 lakh price tag
