FB Mondial is an Italian motorbike brand that was founded in Milan, Italy, in 1929. The initialism FB stands for ‘Fratelli Boselli’, which translates to ‘Boselli Brothers’ – the founders of the company. In the 1950s, FB Mondial established itself as a maker of brilliant racing machines. In the following years, the company successfully secured 10 world championship titles. It included 5 titles for riders and 5 titles for manufacturers. By the year 1957, the company had come to be recognized as the top bike manufacturer in the world.
In 1960, the company rolled off the production belt for its last model and halted production for 19 years. During these many years, it was dependent on other manufacturers for frames and engines. In 1979, the company completely ceased production.
