About FB Mondial Bike
FB Mondial is an Italian motorbike brand that was founded in Milan, Italy, in 1929. The initialism FB stands for ‘Fratelli Boselli’, which translates to ‘Boselli Brothers’ – the founders of the company. In the 1950s, FB Mondial established itself as a maker of brilliant racing machine. In the following years, the company had successfully secured 10 world championship titles, 5 titles for riders and 5 titles for manufacturers. And by the year 1957, the company had come to be recognised as the top bike manufacturer in the world.
The last new FB Mondial bike, manufactured by the company itself, rolled off the production belt in 1960. For almost 19 years, all FB Mondial bikes were dependant on other manufacturers for frames and engines. But in 1979, the company completely ceased production.
The company was reborn in the late 90s under a new director, Roberto Ziletti. But once again the company declared bankruptcy in 2004 and was shut down in the year 2005. In 2014, Piaggio revived the company for the third time.
FB Mondial India innings started with a rather special bike – the HPS 300, especially designed for those who love custom made motorcycles. The HPS 300 is, perhaps, the most affordable Scrambler in the country. For now, the FPS 300 is being sold through Kinetic-owned Motoroyale in India – the brand responsible for the arrival of FB Mondial in India.
