1. 03 May 2024: Okaya launches its electric motorcycle christened Ferrato Disruptor in India with a claimed range of 129 km.

Ferrato Disruptor Engine and Transmission

The Disruptor is equipped with a 3.97kWh lithium-ion battery and a 3.3 kWh permanent magnet synchronous motor. This motor efficiently draws power from the battery and transfers it to the drivetrain. It belts out a peak power of 6370W and a maximum torque of 228 Nm. These deliveries are transmitted to the wheels through an automatic gearbox.

Ferrato Disruptor Riding Range

As claimed by the manufacturer, this electric motorcycle offers a range of 129 km on a single charge. The battery can be charged fully within five hours with the help of its standard portable charger.

Ferrato Disruptor Performance

The Ferrato Disruptor is capable of running up to a speed of 95 km/h. It can climb the steep of up to 18 degrees.

This EV has a telescopic front suspension and a mono-shock in the rear. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels that sport tubeless tyres, offering better grip and convenience during puncture. The front wheel sports 110mm wide tyres while the rear one gets a 140mm wide tyre. On the braking front, it is provided with 240mm discs in the front and rear, leading to optimum control.

The Disruptor bike is 2065mm long with a wheelbase of 1405mm. It has a width of 695mm and an overall height of 1065. Its seat height is 700mm and kerb weight is 164 kg.

This electric two-wheeler features an aggressive front with a dual headlamp setup on the sculpted housing. It flaunts a transparent visor which also houses the rear-view mirrors. The turn indicators are sleek, peeking from both sides. The front-side faring makes it look sportier and the ‘DISRUPTOR’ graphic further adds to its elegance. The upper body is sculpted and the seat design is split and stepped. In the rear, it showcases a split pillion grab bar, a striking tail lamp, and registration plate illumination lights. The rear turn indicators are similar to the frontal ones, flanking the number plate.

This vehicle comes with a hybrid digital display that provides all essential information to the rider. It has several connectivity options including mobile, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS. Additionally, the Disruptor electric bike incorporates three ride modes – Eco, City, and Sports. It gets a side stand sensor to avoid accidents, a reverse assist for effortless reversing, and enough storage space. The remote key, live vehicle tracking, Geo fencing, and find-my-scooter features are also included. Moreover, it has a combi braking system that keeps both the brakes integrated, offering precise stopping power.
