The Pleasure+ 110 – a successor to the Pleasure – adopts a new retro design language. While the Pleasure was squarely aimed at female riders, the Pleasure+ is a unisex product and has a more gender-neutral styling, with a bigger 110cc engine, which should appeal to men as well. The Pleasure+ has a retro design. The headlamp with a chrome surround resembles a 125cc scooter from another manufacturer. The redesigned face and front apron exude a fresh appeal, and the inclusion of a USB charging port and an under-seat LED lamp is a nice and useful touch.
The Pleasure+ 110 is a departure from the earlier chic design in favour of a more gender-neutral styling. The Pleasure+ is dimensionally identical to its predecessor at 1,769mm of length, 704mm of width, and 1,161mm of height. Additionally, the scooter has a fuel holding capacity of 4.8 litres, and it weighs 101kg. The kerb weight of the Plus is 101kg.
The Hero Pleasure+ 110 is powered by a 110.9cc air-cooled engine that puts out 8bhp and 8.7Nm of torque. The air-cooled engine is responsive and vibe free in the 40 – 50kmph speed bracket. The CVT transmission is flawless and smooth in its operation.
The Hero Pleasure+ 110 returns a claimed mileage of 60km/l. Twist the throttle, and it nudges a top speed of 85km/h.
The Hero Pleasure+ 110 is an easy-to-ride scooter, thanks to its nimble handling and comfortable suspension setup. It rides on a bottom link with spring loaded hydraulic damper suspension setup at the front and a swing arm with spring loaded hydraulic damper setup at the back. The scooter sits on an underbone frame chassis. It grasps its stopping power from 130mm drums at either end. Both front and rear tyres are of the same size – 90/100x10-53J.
The Hero Pleasure+ 110 new model comes well equipped with a slew of features. For starters, IBS (Hero’s term for CBS), side stand warning, a USB charging socket, and an under-seat LED light is standard across the range. The instrument cluster comprises a speedometer, an odometer, and a fuel gauge – all analogue. Both headlamp and taillamp miss out on LEDs.
The Hero Pleasure+ 110 is available in two variants. The Hero Pleasure+ 110 price (as of mid-2019) is ₹47,300 for the Sheet Metal wheel variant and ₹49,300 for the Cast wheel variant.
