New Hero Xoom 110 Scooter Launched in India at Rs 68,599

The new Maestro Xoom scooter from Hero Motocorp has been launched in India, with a base price of Rs 68,599 (ex-showroom). It is offered in three variants: LX, VX, and ZX. The LX variant costs Rs 68,599, the VX variant costs Rs 71,799, and the ZX variant costs Rs 76,699 (all prices, ex-showroom).

<p>Hero MotoCorp plans to add a fifth model to its lineup of scooters on January 30.&nbsp;The new scooter, which will be known as the Xoom 110, will be the third in the Maestro family. At a private event in September of last year, Hero gave its dealers a sneak peek at the scooter, showing off some of the model's features and styling.&nbsp;The Xoom 110 is anticipated to compete in the 110cc scooter market, and both the invite for the current event and images from the September event show that it will look quite different from its sibling models. Since the Edge's headlamp is located on the handlebar fairing, the Xoom's headlamp now has a revised front apron with the headlamp placed low on the apron. The scooter also has a two-tone paint job, and the indicators are located in the fairing on the handlebar.</p>

<p>It is expected that the headlamp will be an LED component with an H-pattern LED DRL. Additionally, according to prior details, the scooter will have a digital instrument panel.&nbsp;With 12-inch alloy wheels on both ends, it may be sportier in terms of cycle parts than the <a href="https://www.autox.com/track-test/hero-maestro-edge-125-track-test-106853/">Maestro Edge</a>, which has a 10-inch rear wheel. Meanwhile, the suspension system will include telescopic forks, a monoshock, and a disc-drum braking system.</p>

<p>Speaking of the powertrain, the Xoom will likely receive the same 110cc engine as the Maestro Edge 110. Similar performance numbers for the new Xoom may be provided by the 110cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine in the Edge 110, which produces 8.75Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm and 8bhp of maximum power at 7,500rpm.&nbsp;<a href="https://www.autox.com/reviews/bike-reviews/hero-xtreme-200s-review-first-ride-105916/">Hero's</a> i3S technology, which improves fuel efficiency, will benefit the&nbsp;Xoom 110. It has a dedicated button on the handlebar that can be used to turn it on.</p>

<p>The new Xoom scooter will be more expensive and positioned above the <a href="https://www.autox.com/news/bike-news/hero-launches-pleasure-plus-and-maestro-edge-125-scooters-105961/">Maestro Edge</a>, which is currently offered for between Rs 66,820 (ex-showroom)&nbsp;for the drum variant&nbsp;and Rs 73,498 (ex-showroom) for the&nbsp;disc variant.&nbsp;The Hero Xoom 110 will primarily compete with the Honda Dio in the Indian market, with prices expected to start at Rs 80,000 (ex-showroom).</p>


Hero Xoom 110 India Launch Soon; What to Expect

The new Xoom 110, which is scheduled to go on sale on January 30, will be Hero MotoCorp's first brand-new two-wheeler for this year. The model will differ from the Maestro Edge 110cc with a few new features and design elements.
