Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 Highlights
Not only the Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 is the first café racer in the segment, but also it’s one of the first ‘Huskies’ to land in the Indian two-wheeler market. Unveiled at the India Bike Week in December 2019, Husqvarna kickstarted 2020 by launching two of its entry-level offerings in the market.
Unlike the Svartpilen 250, the Vitpilen 250 is a café racer with an aggressive and sporty stance. The name Vitpilen itself stands for “White Arrow” in Swedish.
Exterior Details
The Husky has a very unconventional and striking design, sure to lure the younger audience. The neo-retro design language is complemented by various circular touches such as a circular headlamp – with an LED DRL – circular instrument cluster, and circular side mirrors. The handlebar is placed close to the headlamp cluster so that the rider has to sit in a committed position. The rear section is short and compact, although it appears to be well-balanced. It weighs 154kg.
Engine & Transmission
Just like the other Husky and its KTM sibling, the Vitpilen 250 is powered by a BS-VI compliant 248.76cc single-cylinder motor, good for 29.2bhp and 24Nm of torque. It features fuel injection and uses liquid for cooling. It, too, works in tandem with a 6-speed manual transmission. As for the mileage, Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 is expected to be as frugal as its siblings.
Handling
While all the KTMs in the past have amazed critics with impressive handling, expect the Huskies to be no different. As for the hardware, the Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 new model rides on 43mm USD forks suspension setup at the front and a monoshock suspension at the rear. The stopping power comes from a 320mm disc brake at the front and a 230mm disc brake at the back. It gets 17-inch wheels too, with a 110/70 tyre at the front and a 150/60 tyre at the back. On the chassis front, the bike is built around a steel trellis frame.
Features
The Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 new model is no different from its siblings in terms of the overall equipment. Therefore, it, too, gets the same circular fully digital instrument cluster, which shows a truckload of information. The headlamp, taillamp, and turn indicators are LEDs. As for safety, it gets dual-channel ABS as standard.

On sale in just a single variant, the Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 price will set you back by ₹1.80 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the sole Standard variant. To check the Husqvarna Vitpilen 250 on-road prices, inclusive of all the taxes, scroll above.
