Kawasaki Ninja 300 Highlights
The Ninja 300 was brought to India in 2008 as a successor to the Ninja 250R. It is one of the most exciting fully-faired motorcycles on sale in the Indian market. On the design front, the Ninja 300 gets its aggressive styling from the twin-pod headlamp setup at the front, Ninja badging on the muscular fuel tank, and 17-inch alloy wheels finished in gloss black.
The new Ninja 300 is a very aggressively designed fully-faired motorcycle. Dimensionally, the Ninja 300 is 2,015mm in length, 715mm in width, and 1,110mm in overall height. Ground clearance is 140mm, while the fuel tank capacity is 17-litres. The kerb weight of the Ninja 300, on the other hand, is 179kg.
Engine & Transmission
The Kawasaki Ninja 300 is powered by a 296cc twin-cylinder BS-VI approved motor, which packs 38.8bhp of power and 26.1Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Thanks to the decent Kawasaki Ninja 300 mileage, it has a good riding range of around 400kms.
The Ninja 300 rides on telescopic hydraulic forks suspension at the front and a bottom link uni-trak with gas-charged shock suspension at the back. The bike is based on a steel tube diamond frame. Braking is handled by a 290mm disc at the front and a 220mm disc at the back. The tyre sizes of the front and rear wheels are 110/70 R17 and 140/70 R17, respectively.
The Kawasaki Ninja 300 new model comes with a digital cluster for the speedometer, odometer, and fuel gauge, which is paired with an analogue dial for the tachometer. The bike comes with ABS as standard. The headlamp is a halogen unit while the tail lamp is an LED.
