The Vulcan S is a middleweight cruiser from Kawasaki India, which is also the one and the only model available in the Vulcan line-up. The Vulcan S gets some muscular styling elements, replete with a comfortable riding position, blacked-out elements, teardrop fuel tank, inverted triangle headlamp, and a short exhaust that sets it apart from other Kawasaki motorcycles.

The new Vulcan S is designed as a low slung cruiser. The dimensions speak of 2,310mm overall length, 855mm overall width, and 1,090mm overall height. The kerb weight is 235kg, while the ground clearance is a low 130mm. The fuel tank has a capacity of 14-litres.
Engine & Transmission
The Kawasaki Vulcan S comes powered by a 649cc twin-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which makes 59.9bhp and 62.4Nm of torque and comes mated to a six-speed manual transmission. As for its efficiency, the Kawasaki Vulcan S mileage is said to be around 24km/l.
Handling
The Vulcan S gets a 120/70 R18 M/C 59H section tyre at the front and a wider 160/60 R17 M/C 69H section tyre at the rear. The stopping power is the responsibility of a 300mm disc at the front and a 250mm disc at the rear. The bike is based on a perimeter, high tensile steel frame chassis whereas it rides on telescopic fork suspension at the front and an offset laydown single shock, linkage equipped, with adjustable preload suspension at the back.
