Mahindra Mojo Highlights
The Mojo is a capable and fast tourer from Mahindra for India. As of mid-2020, the Mojo is Mahindra’s flagship two-wheeler in the Indian market. Earlier available in two versions – known as the XT300 and UT300 – the Mahindra Mojo is now available in just a single version. For 2020, Mahindra has updated its flagship motorcycle to make it compliant with the BS-VI emission standards, and, apart from the engine, not much has changed with the Mojo.
The Mojo is a premium sports tourer from Mahindra. Talking about its dimensions, the touring motorcycle is 2,115mm in overall length, 800mm in overall width, and 1,150mm in overall height. The Mojo sits 165mm above the ground. The Mojo has a kerb weight of 186.2kg and a fuel tank capacity of 21-litres.
Engine & Transmission
The Mahindra Mojo comes powered by a 294cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, which makes 25.35bhp and 25.96Nm of torque. The fuel-injected motor comes mated to a six-speed manual transmission. While the official Mahindra Mojo mileage figure hasn’t been revealed as of launch, we expect it to deliver somewhere around 27km/l.
The Mahindra Mojo rides on telescopic forks at the front and a gas-charged monoshock at the back. The bike is based on a twin-tube exposed chassis, and it rides on a 110/70-17 section tyre at the front and a 140/70-17section tyre at the rear. The stopping power is in response to a 320mm disc at the front and a 240mm disc at the rear.
The Mahindra Mojo new model gets the same levels of equipment as its predecessor. Speaking of the instrument cluster, a part digital unit is located on the centre console, which is further divided into an analogue tachometer and a digital display that acts as the speedometer, odometer, trip meter and the fuel gauge. The front end is dominated by a halogen headlamp with LED light guide, while the rear section gets an LED taillamp.
