<p>Royal Enfield sold 1.04 lakh units overall, marking a 14% jump from 91,132 units sold in the same month last year.&nbsp;Compared to December 2025, the increase was modest, with sales up by just 0.72%. While the sales in the domestic market stood at 93,781 units,&nbsp;showing a 16% rise over 81,052 units sold in January 2025, the exports grew 5% year-on-year to reach 10,541 units, from 10,080 units. In the year-to-date period of 2026-25,&nbsp;Royal Enfield reported total sales of 10.25 lakh units, a gain of 25%&nbsp;from 8.18 lakh units sold in the same period last year. Domestic sales reached 9.16 lakh units,&nbsp;marking a 25% increase over 7.34 lakh units, while exports rose&nbsp;30% to 1.10 lakh units from 84,301 units a year ago.</p><p>Speaking about the performance for January 2026, B. Govindarajan, Managing Director - Eicher Motors Ltd. and Chief Executive Officer - Royal Enfield, said, 'The new year has begun on a positive note for Royal Enfield-  extending the strong momentum from the previous quarter and marking four consecutive months of healthy double-digit growth. We have crossed 1 million motorcycle sales in this financial year across the globe, and also crossed&nbsp;100,000 motorcycle sales in exports. But for three electrifying days last month, Vagator traded shacks for throttles and sunsets for spotlights as the 2025 edition of the Royal Enfield Motoverse roared into town. Almost 40,000 riders, dreamers, creators, and motorcycling enthusiasts came in from across the globe to celebrate a culture that Royal Enfield hasn’t just built, but lives and breathes every single day. </p><p>Motoverse has always been more than just a festival; it’s a living ecosystem where machines meet music, art blends with adrenaline, and the community becomes the main act. This year was no different. If anything, it was bolder and louder, with some really great motorcycles on display and some rather interesting activities for attendees.</p><p>

<p>The iconic Maut Ka Kuan (Well of Death) made a grand double-storey comeback, sending crowds into a frenzy as riders defied gravity and common sense. The Royal Enfield FT450 also saw plenty of action on the flat track, giving enthusiasts a chance to slide, skid, and smile their way around Goa.</p><p>

<p>Despite no mechanical similarities with the smaller 350, the Classic 650 instantly feels familiar. The moment you lay eyes on it, you know RE has nailed the brief again. It’s a true modern classic – the silhouette is unmistakably Classic, the proportions are beefier, and the detailing is spot-on. Round LED headlamps, analogue dials, authentic metal bodywork, and those gorgeous colourways – every element is exquisitely executed. Compared to the 350, which is no featherweight itself, the 650 looks brawnier, all thanks to its 648cc parallel-twin engine and low-slung twin exhausts. At 243kg, it’s quite hefty too, but once you’re on the move, the weight quickly disappears – just like your worries.</p>

<p>On the go, the power delivery is creamy, performance effortless, and the relaxed ergonomics turn every ride into a therapy session – yes, even on the racetrack. As for ride quality, it’s firm but composed.     If there’s one motorcycle that’s built for those who take life easy, it’s the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350. The name says it all. It’s a motorcycle that embraces the Goan spirit of susegad – relaxed, carefree, and unhurried. One look at it tells you exactly what it stands for. The bobber-inspired design is a visual delight, featuring clean, flowing lines, a single-seat layout, whitewall tubeless spoked tyres, and retro details that give the Goan Classic genuine presence. Pair that with quirky yet tasteful colour options, and you’ve got a motorcycle that turns heads wherever it goes.</p>

<p>It was easily one of the most striking motorcycles on the track, even though it had no business being there in the first place. Underneath its old-school design sits the familiar 349cc single-cylinder J-series engine, which also powers the Classic and Meteor 350. <p>This is a bike that loves to cruise, not chase lap times. But that didn’t stop us from testing its limits at the Buddh International Circuit. Given its limited cornering clearance, the feeler bolts wore down quickly. However, the relatively stiff suspension setup provided decent stability around corners. <p>At 197kg, the Goan Classic is not a lightweight machine, but its low 750mm seat height and upright ergonomics make it accessible and comfortable. The tall ape-style handlebars add to its laid-back attitude and don’t really compromise handling during everyday use. Whether riding around town or heading out for a lazy Sunday coffee run, the Goan Classic 350 feels perfectly at home. The Goan Classic isn’t about speed or precision. It’s the kind of motorcycle that makes you want to slow down, take the long route, and perhaps stop for a photo or two along the way.
