<p>Yamaha has updated the twin-cylinder naked sports bike, the MT-03,&nbsp;for the model year 2025. While the bike in the image&nbsp;is the international-spec model, the 2025 Yamaha MT-03 could be brought to the Indian market sometime next year. Along with a couple of design tweaks, the updated MT-03 features&nbsp;a negative LCD dash with smartphone connectivity ensuring access to call/SMS alerts, mails, and turn-by-turn navigation. The design changes include a more angular rear section similar to the fully faired Yamaha R3. Another change is the addition of a new colour option&nbsp;– Ice Storm, which has blue-coloured alloy wheels. Robotic-like&nbsp;LED headlamps, split seats,&nbsp;street-style handlebars, and a contoured fuel tank continue.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Mechanically, the bike remains the same. The new Yamaha MT-03 retains a&nbsp;321cc liquid-cooled DOHC engine producing 41.4bhp and 29.5Nm of peak torque. The&nbsp;engine comes&nbsp;mated to a six-speed gearbox, accompanied by&nbsp;a slip-and-assist clutch.</p>

<p>Yamaha India currently retails the existing MT-03 at an ex-showroom price of Rs 4.60 lakh. It remains to be seen when the company plans to bring the updated naked bike to our market. Along with&nbsp;the 2025 Yamaha MT-03, we expect the YZF-R3 to arrive in 2025. Unveiled globally nearly two months ago, the 2025 Yamaha YZF-R3 gets design upgrades and new features. It now appears more sporty thanks to the new&nbsp;R-series design language. The front fascia is marked out by a&nbsp;new LED headlamp (with sleek LED Daytime Running Lamps)&nbsp;and&nbsp;four-way position lamps. Three paint finishes are on offer&nbsp;– Team Yamaha Blue, Matte Stealth Black, and Lunar White/Nebula Blue. Like the MT-03, the R3 comes with a new LCD cluster with Bluetooth compatibility. Even the mechanicals remain the same as the bike's&nbsp;twin sibling.</p>

Sibling to the R3, the MT-03 is the company's first naked bike in India since the original MT-01 and boasts of a 321cc, parallel-twin engine and a six-speed gearbox.&nbsp;Bookings for the street bike are already underway for a token amount of Rs 20,000, and the bikemaker has brought in the bike&nbsp;in two colour options – Grey-Cyan Blue&nbsp;and Midnight Black, depending on the availability of stock. <h2>Yamaha MT-03: Suspension, Brakes, Tyres</h2>

<p>For suspension duties, the motorcycle comes with upside-down forks at the front and a mono-shock at the rear. Meanwhile,&nbsp;the braking hardware consists of a 298mm front disc&nbsp;and a 220mm rear disc. The discs are mounted on 17-inch wheels clothed in 110/70 front and 140/70 rear tubeless tyres.&nbsp;</p>

The ground clearance (minimum) and wheelbase are rated at 160mm and 1,380mm, respectively.&nbsp;</p>
