The model is available in various striking paint job options:&nbsp;M Carbon Black,&nbsp;Mineral White, Arctic Race Blue, and&nbsp;Skyscraper Grey. Manufactured locally at the premium carmaker's Chennai plant, the BMW model is currently offered in a petrol variant across all authorised dealerships. These packages include Condition-Based Service (CBS) and maintenance work, starting from 3 years/40,000 km, with extensions available for up to 10 years/2 lakh km. Additionally, the warranty program can be extended for up to 10 years.</p><h2>New BMW 3 Series LWB: Dimensions and Design</h2><p>In terms of dimensions, the model spans 4,819mm in length with a wheelbase of 2,961mm, making it the longest vehicle in its segment and offering the most spacious second-row seating.</p><p>The 3 Series LWB boasts a refined design, featuring a reworked BMW kidney grille and sleek twin circular LED headlights, complemented by adaptive LED headlights with projector lamps. Enhancing its upscale appearance, the exterior is adorned with aluminium satinated trims as well as a high-gloss black rear diffuser.</p><h2>New BMW 3 Series LWB: Mechanical Setup</h2><p>Equipped with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology, the 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol engine of the 330Li delivers 254bhp and a peak torque of 400Nm between 1,550 and 4,400rpm. The car sprints from 0 to 100km/h in 6.2 seconds. This engine is paired with an eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission for seamless power delivery.<br><br>Additionally, the BMW 3 Series LWB features steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters and cruise control with a braking function. The Launch Control system enhances traction, enabling optimal acceleration from a standstill. With the Driving Experience Control switch, drivers can select from multiple modes – ECO PRO, Comfort, and Sport – to adapt to various driving conditions.</p><h2>New BMW 3 Series LWB: Interior and Features</h2><p>Inside, the new Aluminium Rhombicle Anthracite interior trim strips enhance the cabin’s sporty appeal. The standard M leather steering wheel in the BMW 3 Series LWB now features a flat-bottomed rim.&nbsp;Customers can choose from various upholstery options, including Leather Vernasca Cognac.</p><p>

<p><em><strong>The BMW M340i xDrive 50 Jahre Edition celebrated 50 years of the M division under BMW's belt. The car comes with a host of design elements both on the outside as well as outside.</strong></em></p>

<p>BMW has launched the M340i 50 Jahre Edition in India. The price for the car starts at Rs 68.90 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The 50 Jahre edition celebrates 50 years of the M division in India and will be locally assembled at the company’s plant outside of Chennai.<br />

At its heart, the M340i 50 Jahre edition gets the same six-cylinder twin-turbo petrol engine producing 387bhp and 500Nm of torque through an eight-speed automatic transmission with xDrive system as standard.<br />

On the outside, the 50 Jahre edition gets several subtle distinguishing cues including a high-gloss black kidney grille, elements in Jet-black including window surround, mirror caps and 19-inch M light-alloy wheels. <a href="https://www.autox.com/new-cars/bmw/">BMW </a>has also fitted 50 Jahre M roundel in front rear and wheel hub caps. The car will come in two crocodilian options including Dravit Grey and Tanzanite Blue.<br />

On the inside, the car gets sports seats with M-specific upholstery in a Sensatec/Alcantara trim. Also, ok offer is Anthracite BMW Individual roof liner, M leather steering wheel, M seat belt and interior Individual trim strips in Piano Black.<br />

The 50-year accessories come in two different packages - Motorsport Pack and Carbon Pack. The Motorsport pack comes with an M Performance steering wheel, gear knob in Alcantara and rear spoiler in matte black. Meanwhile, the Carbon pack includes interior trims in carbon fibre, M performance steering wheel, selector gear knob in carbon fibre and rear spoiler in carbon Fiber.</p>

<p>BMW India has announced that it will also introduce dedicated M Certified Dealerships in India where enthusiasts will find everything M under one roof.&nbsp;</p>

BMW M340i xDrive 50 Jahre Edition launched in India at Rs 68.90 lakh

Celebrating 50 years of M division, BMW has launched the M340i 50 Jahre Edition in India. The cars will be locally assembled at the company's plant outside Chennai. It comes with subtle distinguishing cosmetic elements, both on the inside as well as outside.

<p>The fifth all-new car to be launched by BMW this year – after the X4, Z4, X5 and the X7 – the 3 Series is easily the most important car for BMW. The sports sedan has been the best-selling model for BMW and in this all-new avatar, it is expected to offer superb driving pleasure. BMW has launched the all-new 3 Series in three variants – 320d Sport, 320d Luxury Line and 330i M Sport. Prices for the three are Rs 41.40 lakh, Rs 46.90 lakh and Rs 47.90 lakh respectively.</p>

<p>Speaking at the launch, Rudratej Singh, President and Chief Executive Officer, BMW Group India said, 'The 3 is the heart and soul of BMW. As the ultimate sports sedan, for over four decades, it has been the flag bearer of "Sheer Driving Pleasure." In this new avatar, the 3 has outdone itself once again! Built for thrill and driven by technology, the all-new 3 Series is an automobile that creates an impeccable harmony between the driver, the machine and the road.'</p>

<p>At the heart, the 3 Series comes with 2.0-litre petrol and diesel engines. The turbo diesel is good for 188bhp and 400Nm, but now comes fitted with two turbochargers. BMW claims that the car can do the 0-100km/h dash in just 6.8 seconds. The 2.0-litre turbo petrol puts out 255bhp and 400Nm, which takes it from standstill to 100km/h in just 5.8 seconds. Both cars come paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission.</p>

<p>Underneath the skin, the 3 Series is based on the brand’s new Cluster Architecture platform. This new model is an impressive 76mm longer and has a 41mm longer wheelbase too. This should result in better space inside the cabin. Expect better shoulder room too as the new 3 is 16mm wider overall, and has a 43mm and 21mm wider front and rear track respectively. Despite the increase in size, the new 3 Series weighs around 55kilos less than the model it replaces. As far as the design goes, the 3 Series now looks more chiselled than ever before – making it look like a scaled-down version of the new 5 Series.</p>

<p>Needless to say, the new 3 comes loaded features and new-age technology. The car gets BMW’s Virtual Assistant voice recognition system, Gesture control for the infotainment screen, reversing assistant and more. The new 3 comes with two large screens on the dash, a 12.3-inch one for the instrument cluster and a 10.25-inch unit for the infotainment. It also gets newly crafted seats, three-zone climate control, ambient lighting and more.</p>

<p>This all-new BMW 3 Series will continue to compete against the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Audi A4 and the Jaguar XE.</p>
