The highly-awaited Royal Enfield Bullet 350 in the new-generation avatar will make its entry into India on August 30-September 1. Notably, the upcoming launch of the new Bullet 350 will mark the end of the longer-running 346cc UCE unit. With the update, the revised bike will harbor the new J-series engine, which currently does duty on its counterparts, including the Classic, the Meteor, the Hunter, and others. More exact details regarding the forthcoming model will likely emerge as the launch date draws close, however, industry reports reveal that the latest-generation Bullet 350 will get considerable improvements over its predecessor.

In the automaker's lineup, the new Bullet 350 will sit beneath the Classic 350 and above the base Hunter 350 version. Upon launch, it will lock horns with the Jawa 42, the TVS Ronin, and other models.

Currently, the older 346cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine does duty on the motorcycle. It produces 19bhp and 28Nm. Post the update, the Bullet 350 will have the 349cc, single-cylinder, air-oil cooled, fuel-injected engine, and J-platform will serve as its foundation. The same J-series unit is found with the Hunter, Meteor, and Classic 350, and generates 20.2bhp at 6,100rpm and 27Nm at 4,000rpm. For transmission, it employs a 5-speed manual gearbox.

The new-generation Bullet 350 will have an improved design over the older version. Except for a few small alterations, such as a new taillamp, single-piece seat, and body graphics, it is likely to mirror the Classic 350 in terms of design.

Speaking of the hardware, the upcoming bike will presumably include dual-spring loaded rear shock absorbers and telescopic front forks. For braking, it is anticipated to utilise a front disc brake and a rear drum brake with a single-channel ABS.
