2023 Suzuki Avenis: Features

The 2023 Avenis continues with an LED headlight and an LED taillight. Even the feature list is similar to that of the BS6 version. With Bluetooth connectivity, the scooter's LCD screen offers features like missed call alert, caller ID, call alert, SMS alert, WhatsApp alert, phone battery level display, turn-by-turn directions, and information about the estimated time of arrival. Other features include an external fuel filler cap, rear indicators with motorcycle styling, and a front box with a USB port.

2023 Suzuki Avenis: Price

Two variants of the Suzuki Avenis 125 are offered: the Standard and Race Edition. The latter has a unique livery and can be had for Rs 92,300, whereas the Standard model demands Rs 92,000. Both prices are ex-showroom, Delhi.

2023 Suzuki Avenis: Powertrain

The 124cc single-cylinder air-cooled motor from the BS6 version continues to power the 2023 Suzuki Avenis. The model provides a mileage of 54.5km/l. Similar to the BS6 version, the maximum output and peak torque are rated at 8.5bhp at 6,750rpm and 10Nm at 5,500rpm, respectively. This model, however, includes an OBD2-A On-Board Diagnostics System, which aids in the detection of system failures and illuminates the console lights to indicate vehicle system faults.

2023 Suzuki Avenis: Design

The 2023 model's styling is essentially the same as that of the previous iteration. The 125cc scooter still has an angular and muscular appearance with an apron-mounted headlight, tall-set front turn indicators, sharp body panels, a side-slung exhaust, and a two-piece pillion grabrail. Depending on the variant, the available colour options differ.

The Race Edition is available in a Metallic Sonic Silver/ Metallic Triton Blue paint scheme, while the paint schemes offered for the Standard version include Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey/Metallic Lush Green, Metallic Matte Black/Glass Sparkle Black, Pearl Mirage White/Metallic Matte Fibroin Grey, and Pearl Blaze Orange/Glass Sparkle Black.

Both versions have telescopic front forks and a single rear spring for the suspension system. The safety net comprises a combined braking system, and the braking duties are handled by a front disc brake and a rear drum setup. The scooter has 90/90-section and 90/100-section tyres mounted on 12-inch front and 10-inch rear alloy wheels, respectively. It weighs 106 kgs (kerb) and has a fuel tank capacity of 5.2 litres.
