2025 Ducati Panigale V2 Launched in India at Rs 19.12 Lakh

Ducati has launched the 2025 Panigale V2 and V2 S in India, priced ex-showroom at Rs 19.12 lakh and Rs 21.10 lakh, respectively. The supersport made its global debut last year alongside the Streetfighter V2 at EICMA. What's new? The bike now features a 890cc, 90-degree V-twin engine weighing 54.4 kg, which the Italian marque calls its lightest twin-cylinder unit yet.

Compared to the outgoing 955cc Superquadro engine, which produced 148bhp, the new engine delivers less power at 118bhp (at 10,750rpm). However, Ducati says it has compensated for this by making the bike lighter than before. For instance, the Panigale V2 S weighs 175 kg without fuel, while the standard Panigale V2 weighs 179 kg. The torque value of the bike is 93.3Nm at 8,250rpm.

Ducati Panigale V2: Hardware, Features

The 2025 iteration has an aerodynamic bodywork, and is equipped with a full-LED headlight with DRL, a streamlined rear end featuring exhausts neatly tucked beneath the seat. It sits on a lightweight monocoque frame (that treats the engine as a stressed member).

For suspension, the standard Panigale V2 uses a fully adjustable Marzocchi fork and Kayaba monoshock. The top-spec V2 S upgrades this to Ohlins NIX-30 front fork and TTX36 rear shock (both are fully-adjustable). The bikes feature Brembo M50 callipers and Pirelli Diablo Rosso 4 tyres.

In terms of electronics, the bike packs a 6-axis IMU controlling cornering ABS, a quickshifter, engine brake management,  traction, and wheelie control. Meanwhile, the high-end V2 S adds launch control and a pit limiter. Four riding modes and a 5-inch TFT display complete the package.

Ducati Panigale V2: Other Details

The 2025 Ducati Panigale V2 and V2 S are offered in a single Ducati Red livery. While the former comes in a two-seater configuration, the latter is available with a single-seat layout.
