With the launch of the 2025 Apache RTR 160, TVS Motor has upgraded the safety and regulations of its well-liked commuter sport motorcycle in India. Along with dual-channel ABS, the updated model is now in compliance with OBD-2B emission standards. The new price, which starts at Rs 1.34 lakh (ex-showroom), is about Rs 4,000 more than the previous top-of-the-line variant.

To enhance its sporty and modern appeal, the 2025 TVS Apache RTR 160 is offered in new Matte Black and Pearl White colour options, along with red alloy wheels. There are no additional aesthetic or mechanical changes to the motorcycle.
Coming to the mechanical side of things, the new Apache RTR 160 continues to be powered by the same 159.7cc single-cylinder engine, churning out 15.82bhp of maximum power at 8,750rpm and 13.85Nm of peak torque at 7,000rpm.
The RTR 160 maintains its dynamic performance and nimble handling because of its excellent power-to-weight ratio. Dual-channel ABS greatly increases braking stability and provides improved control under a range of road conditions.

Several significant features from the previous model are still present, including the three ride modes (Sport, Urban, and Rain) and the brand's SmartXonnect suite, which allows voice commands and Bluetooth pairing for increased technological convenience.
