Yamaha Motor India launched the 2025 version of the MT-15 Version 2.0, adding new life to its popular streetfighter. Priced at Rs 1.69 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base model and Rs 1.80 lakh for the top variant, this update brings a mix of new technology and colour choices. Yamaha hopes to connect with daily riders and those stepping into the world of performance bikes. A key highlight of the new MT-15 is its updated TFT instrument cluster, taken from the Yamaha R15. This digital screen now supports Bluetooth pairing and turn-by-turn navigation using Yamaha’s Y-Connect app. It also helps riders track details like fuel economy, parking location, and maintenance reminders—features aimed at making daily rides a little easier and smarter.

The design hasn’t changed much, but Yamaha has added new shades like Ice Storm and Metallic Silver Cyan to keep things fresh. The MT-15 still sports its signature twin LED DRLs, sculpted fuel tank, and compact build. These additions keep the bike looking sharp and help it stand out in city traffic.

Under the surface, the MT-15 stays familiar with its 155cc, liquid-cooled engine, delivering 18 hp and 14 Nm of torque. It still comes with a six-speed gearbox and slipper clutch, making gear changes smoother. The inclusion of traction control gives riders a bit more confidence, especially when road conditions are less than ideal.
