Suzuki has introduced the 2026 iteration of its popular sportbike, the Hayabusa, for global markets with a series of technical updates, which should result in improved rideability. A special edition model with a blue-and-white paint scheme has also been introduced. While there’s no official announcement about the launch of the 2026 model in India, it is expected to arrive sometime soon, likely with a price increase over the current model, which retails at Rs 18.06 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Here’s a detailed look at what’s new with the 2026 Hayabusa.
For the 2026 model year, Suzuki has rolled out a series of technical and electronic updates for the Hayabusa. The engine remains unchanged, but Suzuki has revised the selectable throttle maps to enhance torque delivery in the lower rev range. It has also recalibrated the launch control system for faster starts and replaced the traditional battery with a lighter, more compact lithium-ion unit. Additionally, the sportbike's cruise control system now remains active even during gear shifts when using the bi-directional quickshifter.
Suzuki has introduced a Special Edition Hayabusa, featuring a blue paint job contrasted by white detailing. Other key highlights include a 3D Suzuki emblem, an exclusive badge on the fuel tank, and a seat cowl (standard).

The bike retains its mechanical setup for 2026, with the 1,340cc inline-four engine continuing to deliver 187bhp of maximum power and 150 Nm of peak torque.
