Limited to 30 units, the RSV4 X-GP was launched to mark ten years since Aprilia’s RS-GP debut in MotoGP. The bike was first displayed during the Catalunya Grand Prix, where it gained strong interest from racing fans and collectors. Developed by Aprilia’s Noale Racing Department, the RSV4 X-GP is the most powerful version of the RSV4 line. It uses a 1,099cc V4 engine producing 238bhp and a dry weight of 165kg. The power-to-weight ratio makes it suitable for track use and professional riders seeking MotoGP-level specification. The motorcycle was built to deliver a riding experience similar to that of a factory race prototype, continuing Aprilia’s focus on direct race-to-machine technology transfer.
Aprilia has equipped the RSV4 X-GP with components derived from its MotoGP programme. These include a dry clutch system, titanium exhaust, high-flow airbox, and the APX electronic suite. The electronics package features data collection and GPS tracking, allowing detailed lap analysis. These systems mirror what factory engineers use in MotoGP, supporting riders in improving speed and consistency through data.

The RSV4 X-GP also has aerodynamic parts taken from the RS-GP MotoGP bike. It is the first production motorcycle to use both leg and tail wings, designed to create downforce and increase stability during acceleration and cornering. The setup is completed with Ohlins suspension, Brembo GP4 brakes, and Marchesini magnesium wheels, giving the bike a fully race-oriented specification.
