Bajaj Dominar 250 Dual Tone Launched

Three new dual-tone paint schemes for the Dominar 250 have been introduced - Racing Red-Matt Silver, Citrus Rush-Matt Silver and Sparkling Black-Matt Silver. Bajaj has priced these new dual-tone iterations at Rs 1.54 lakh

Just last month, Bajaj Auto slashed the pricing of the Dominar 250 by an unbelievable Rs 16,800. Now, the Chakan-based bike maker has introduced three new dual-tone paint schemes for the Dominar 250 - Racing Red-Matt Silver, Citrus Rush-Matt Silver and Sparkling Black-Matt Silver. Aside from the change in the body paint, all three paint schemes also come fitted with silver alloy wheels. The baby Dominar continues with the 17-inch wheels though.

The quarter-litre offering with any of these paint schemes can be had at Rs 1.54 lakh (ex-showroom). Bajaj also retails the standard Canyon Red and Charcoal Black at the same price. This move comes in an attempt to bump up the sales of the Dominar 250. The company has only been able sell a little over 11,000 units since its launch last year. In fact, the 250cc offering has just as many takers since August last year as its larger and more premium sibling, the Dominar 400.

Aside from change in the paint scheme, the Dominar 250 continues with the same 249cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled mill. Peak power stands at 26.6bhp and max torque at 23.5Nm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed transmission. The Dominar 250 sits on 37mm USDs at the front and a monoshock setup at the rear.

Meanwhile, Bajaj Auto has trademarked several names for their upcoming offerings. Follow the links below to read all about them.
