Bajaj’s first CNG motorcycle, the Freedom 125, is now priced at Rs 85,976 (ex-showroom) for the NG04 Drum variant, a reduction of Rs 5,000 from its earlier price of Rs 90,976. The most recent price cut appears aimed at increasing sales for the CNG bike, which has attracted significant market attention since its launch. Notably, the discount applies only to the entry-level model. Other variants of the Freedom 125 remain unchanged, with the Drum LED priced at Rs 95,981 and the top-spec Disc LED at Rs 1.11 lakh (both, ex-showroom).
The Bajaj Freedom 125 has a round headlamp, a daytime running light (DRL), mid-set footpegs, and a wide handlebar. It rides on alloy wheels: 17 inches at the front and 16 inches at the rear. Moreover, it includes features like a USB charging port and a semi-digital instrument cluster, and a button on the left handlebar cube that switches between CNG and petrol modes.

The Bajaj Freedom 125 packs a 125cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that switches easily between CNG and petrol at the push of a button. It produces 9bhp of maximum power and 9.7Nm of peak torque. For transmission, the bike uses a 5-speed gearbox. While running on CNG, the bike claims a mileage of 102km/kg, while the petrol mode offers 65km/l. The Bajaj motorcycle reaches a top speed of 90.5km/h on CNG and 93.4km/h on petrol.

The bike has a tubular trellis frame that not only strengthens the structure but also protects the CNG tank. Both ends come equipped with drum brakes, however, the front disc brake is exclusive to the top-spec Freedom 125.
