Bharat Mobility Expo: With the debut of the 2024 FZ-X line, Yamaha India has given a dash of uniqueness to the classic Japanese motorcycle. Two new colour options have been added by Yamaha to the FZ-X as part of the latest overhaul. Therefore, the all-new bike is now decked out in full chrome and black paint schemes. The bikemaker has introduced these fresh hues at the 2024 Bharat Mobility Expo, which is taking place in the capital city from February 1 to 3. This well-known Yamaha model garnered a devoted fan base due to its distinctive fusion of contemporary features and retro design, which has now been enhanced by the addition new paint jobs. Reservations for both versions are probably going to start at all Yamaha dealerships in the next few days, and they will go on sale shortly afterward. Although the price details of the new colour schemes are still unknown, the FZ-X chrome is anticipated to be the most expensive model in the variant lineup. A potent 149cc single-cylinder engine powers the new FZ-X. The same unit also propells the Yamaha FZ-S. Together with a smooth five-speed transmission, this setup is good enough to generate 13.3Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm and 12.23bhp of maximum power at 7,250rpm, delivering an exhilarating yet smooth ride. The 2024 model's famous round LED headlight with DRLs lighting the way ahead stays loyal to its retro roots, even with the new paint options.

Yamaha FZ-X Chrome Edition: Feature Set

The motorcycle includes a broad number of high-end features, including a Bluetooth-enabled instrument cluster and the Y-Connect smartphone application. The display provides call, SMS, and email alerts, as well as the phone's battery status. The smartphone app, on the other hand, will provide fuel consumption information, maintenance advice, the location of the vehicle's last parking spot, fault notifications, a rev dashboard, and ranking (for distance travelled and fuel economy). It also warns the rider of any malfunctions in the model. The FZX additionally comes with a USB charger located behind the instrument cluster, ABS, and a side-stand engine cut-off mechanism. Traction control in addition to a side stand sensor enhances the safety and convenience quotient, giving you confidence each time you take the road.

Yamaha FZ-X Chrome Edition: Hardware Components

On the hardware front, the bike has sturdy 17-inch wheels with 100/80 front and 140/60 rear tyres, which provide it enough traction to match its aggressive riding style. The 282mm front and 220mm rear disc brakes also offer sufficient impact when it comes to stopping power.
