Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 bookings resumed

Missed the chance to purchase Harley-Davidson’s flagship adventure motorcycle? Hero Motocorp has now, commenced the bookings for the next batch of Pan America 1250 in India.

Hero Motorcorp, that is handling the sales, service and distribution for Harley-Davidson in India has expanded the American motorcycle maker’s network with14 new dealership and 7 new service stations. Hero Motocorp has also resumed the bookings for the second batch of Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250. The deliveries of the second batch of the Pan America 1250 is expected to being by the end of 2021. The Harley-Davidson Pan America 1250 rivals the 2021 BMW R 1250 GS and the Ducati Multistrada V4.

The Pan America 1250 is available in two variants, the Standard and the Special, priced at Rs 16.90 lakh and Rs 19.99 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. Among the three aforementioned adventure motorcycles, the Pan America 1250 is the most affordable one.

The engine on offer is a 1,252cc Revolution Max V-twin unit. The power output is marked at 150bhp at 8,750rpm and 128Nm at 6,750rpm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox. Electronics onboard include five riding modes, IMU-based cornering ABS and traction control. The higher-spec Special variant of the Pan America 1250 gets semi-active suspension and an optional adaptive ride height management system.
