Honda is expected to expand the Indian touring motorcycle market with the launch of the NT1100. The design patent for this road-focused model, already available in Europe, has been filed, indicating that its launch is just around the corner. While the Japanese manufacturer has yet to make an official announcement, the NT1100 is expected to debut as a CBU import, featuring a premium price tag and catering to a select group of riders. It will stack up against established competitors in the segment such as the Kawasaki Ninja 1000SX, and the BMW R 1250 RT. Let’s take a closer look into the key details of the much-anticipated sport-tourer.

Design Application Details of Honda NT1100

Honda NT1100: Design

The Honda NT1100 stands out with its beefy bodywork and grand touring aesthetics, making it a real head-turner. Built for long-distance comfort, it boasts an upright riding position, a unique headlight, a tall fairing, wide, comfortable seats, a broad handlebar, and a large windscreen. The bike is equipped with rider aids such as a 6.5-inch TFT instrument console, ABS, riding modes, smartphone connectivity, and traction control.

The Honda NT1100 is powered by a 1,084cc parallel-twin engine, also found in the Africa Twin. This unit generates close to 100bhp and 116Nm, paired with a DCT transmission system linked to a chain drive.

Essentially a rebadged CB200X, the NX200 features minor improvements and a refined 184.4cc engine that meets the latest OBD2B emission norms. This launch follows the arrival of the 2025 Shine 125. The updated Honda NX200 now features full LED lighting, a redesigned headlight, and an X-shaped taillight. It comes in three colours: Athletic Blue Metallic, Radiant Red Metallic, and Pearl Igneous Black.
