The legendary American motorcycle maker has just launched a brand new model called the Scout. The Scout was originally put of production 70 years ago, and this will be the second model available from the company after the newly revived Indian Chief models.

The brand new Scout will be available in three colours - Thunder Black, Indian Motorcycle Red, Matte Silver Smoke and Matte Thunder Black Smoke. and it comes with a 1133cc V-Twin 60-degree engine that will produce a very healthy 100bhp.

Steve Menneto, VP of motorcycles for Polaris Industries said at the launch, “Over the course of 30 years of countless innovations, racing wins, world records and industry firsts, the Scout has earned its reputation as a versatile, multifaceted bike that appeals to just about every rider and every riding style, with superior handling, balance, performance and craftsmanship,”

The new Scout was launched at the historic Sturgis motorcycle rally, and it will be available in the US and European markets, but there is no word yet on weather it would reach the Indian market, where the company set up shop early this year.
